Retail media specialist, MagiqADs Sdn Bhd has secured an exclusive license to manage and sell all media space within Tesco’s hypermarkets and retail spaces. MagiqADs which began operations just two years ago, started of offering floor media in Tesco and other hypermarkets and retail outlets with its unique “floorstoppers”. Since then it has increased its inventory to include aisle dominance, freezer and chiller wraps, travellator wraps and billboards and pillar spaces.
Tesco’s network of stores includes over 24 outlets nationwide, (including Tesco Extra Stores) with a strong presence in semi-urban areas. A further 6 stores will open by February next year.
An average of over 6000 shop at any Tesco store per day. A nationwide campaign run in-store will reach an estimated 144,000 shoppers per day. Sailendra K. founder and CEO of MagiqADs says “Advertisers need to understand that this is the new mass-media, it’s an opportunity to touch consumers at the point when they are buying. With this exclusive license, we see ourselves being able to offer better combinations of media space and better rates.
